Ideal Image is looking for practitioners who enjoy the cosmetic side of medicine.  We need practitioners to perform laser hair removal in our upscale Ideal Image centers. We provide full training at our state of the art medical training facility, so prior experience is not required. Laser hair removal is a self pay aesthetic procedure. Practitioners are not concerned about insurance company guidelines, after hour’s call backs, and generally being tied to a beeper. Essential Job Functions


Performs laser treatment as an elective aesthetic procedure in accordance with established treatment protocols, scope of practice, organizational policies & procedures, and all other governing standards

 

Provides Guest care in conjunction with laser treatment

 

Partner and collaborate with Clinic Director, Medical Director, and other Associates.

 

Establish and maintain rapport with Guests

 

Operate and maintain laser systems

 

Treat and care for Guests

 

Evaluate Guest’s suitability for laser treatment

 

Ability to correctly assess Guest’s hair color, texture and skin color (based on Fitzpatrick skin scale and genetics)

 

Pursue opportunities to sell additional services

 

Ensure the safety of Guests, other treatment providers, and fellow Associates

 

Prepare Guest for laser treatment

 

Maintain cleanliness and appearance of treatment rooms between each guest

 

Verify and review informed consent, Guest chart and all applicable documents prior to every treatment. Annotate and post appropriate information and data in the Guest’s medical record.

 

Perform emergency protocol as requirements demand

 

Sustain proficiency through continuous education

 

Liaisons with Medical Director to ensure consistent adherence to established Guest care standards, and laser treatment protocol

 

Assure all laser treatments are completed in the allotted time frame given and able to keep up with the center’s daily fast-paced schedule

 

All other tasks or projects as assigned

 
Required Skills: 

 

Minimum Requirements

Valid Licensure as a Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) or Physicians Assistant (PA)


Strong interpersonal communications skills and rapport-building skills

Rapid learner with ability to grasp concepts and protocol associated with laser treatment
